Charlotte graduated with a B.A. (Hons) degree in Drama and Technical Theatre Arts in June 2004. Since then she has established her own entertainments business recognised throughout the South-West. Born in 1983, Charlotte grew up in New Zealand and did much of her dance training here, until moving to the UK wherby she continued her interest in the Perfoming Arts. Charlotte is a classically trained dancer and has appeared in both amateur and professional shows internationally. |
Charlotte is also interested in photography, especially black and white film and appreciates her local environment. She loves walking on the moors, going to the beach and working at festivals. Recently Charlotte and her partner Greg Ramsden both worked at the Big Green Gathering in conjunction with SPARC, South Devon Play and Resource Centre creating loads of different things with children of all ages out of recycled materials. Which is where Charlotte gets the majority of her art materials from for her fairy parties and workshops. |
In the past year her business has developed and her company 'A way with the fairies' now holds school holiday workshops, whereby children are invited to be creative, make up stories together and build confidence in themselves. In the future Charlotte hopes to hold more regular theatre workshops and to form her own Children's Theatre Company, where the children, make, direct and perform their very own shows.
